The 2015 Michigan Mudcats (15u) season begins Wednesday, June 3rd with a very special event. The season-opening doubleheader with the Grand Blanc Gladiators has been dubbed the
Luke's Legacy Baseball Classic, in an effort to raise awareness of the
Luke Duncanson Legacy Memorial Foundation.
The Gladiators and the Mudcats are both Grand Blanc teams, so almost all of the players competing were Luke's friends, classmates and former teammates. Joe Pitock Field on the campus of Grand Blanc High School will host the event. Make sure to arrive early for some very special pre-game ceremonies beginning around 5:20 with first pitch scheduled for 5:30.
